We have told many people about your beautiful surroundings, cleanliness and loving staff. We had access to everything we could possibly need...kitchen needs, reading materials, washer and dryer, beautiful patio and plants, lovely furniture. We also had extra goodies appearing like magic, performed by an elf in the kitchen (named Chris.) It was like a vacation for the five weeks we were there...a time to leave home responsibilities behind and focus only on self. The staff is upbeat, supportive and empathetic, like cancer patients and caregivers need.

You have no idea how much staying at EH helped us; being able to talk to others was a great help. EH is like having your own apartment...it's beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more. We are so grateful. Thank you.

"Whether I was checking a book out of their library or laying on the most comfortable bed that someone had obviously taken great care in choosing, I felt the healing on my stay at Editha House. Cancer is such an ugly disease and if someplace like Editha House can make it easier on someone, then more power to them! To all of the kind staff, thank you again and again, for everything and everyone."

In this world we're living in, you don't see many people who care and take the time to help somebody. And that's what Editha House is all about.

Dear Editha House, Thank you for a soft place to land! My husband Paul and I stayed with you all of last week. I am preparing for a lung transplant and the testing wore me out. So returning to the Editha House and its warm, welcoming and loving staff...each gave me a soft place to land. God Bless each and everyone of you. All of our love and prayers of thanks, Paul and Margaret Duke

I want to express my sincerest appreciation for the Editha House, it's founder , and the staff. I accompanied my Brother (who was recently diagnosed with 4th stage cancer) and his Wife to Phoenix where he was being treated at the Mayo Clinic. The Editha House was recommended by a wonderful lady who worked at the Mayo Clinic and also is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society. When we arrived at the Editha House we were greeted by Christina who treated us with true compassion, concern and understanding. We were made to feel like the Editha House was truly a "home away from home"...and like part of a "family". The entire staff was very helpful and seemed to make a special effort to do whatever they could to help relieve us of some of the stress and concerns that we were suddenly facing. Several of the staff members had or were currently facing much of the same issues and treatment as my Brother. We were so thankful that they were willing to share some of their own experience with cancer and to answer many of our questions. Along with the compassion and understanding, we also experienced peace, comfort, rest and convenience at the Editha House that we could never have found in a motel. Thank you so much for all you have done for us and all you are doing for others who desparately NEED a place like the EDITHA HOUSE. In the book of Matthew, Jesus said..."I was a stranger and you took Me in...I was sick and you visited Me...". When He was asked..."When did we see You a stranger and take You in?...Or when did we see You sick...and come to You?" Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these...you did it unto Me." Again, my sincerest thanks, and may God richly bless you!!

Editha House is a blessing beyond expression. To have such warm and compassionate staff members at Editha House was truly needed during our time of trial. Thank you God and Editha House for your support and for a place to rest during our trips to Phoenix for cancer treatments.
